In this podcast, Yaron Brook reacts to the POTUS’s statements last week about the NFL’s new rules regarding concussions.
According to Yaron, “He [Trump] is nostalgic for the good old days when on a football field … there were no limitations on how hard you could hit and sending back players after concussions. And, you know, when men were real men and they actually brutally assaulted one another.”
“It’s just horrific to me that the president of the United States would be celebrating … the aspect of the game that’s so destructive to human life,” lamented Yaron in this podcast.
What are your thoughts? Are rules for protecting the players “ruining the game,” as President Trump said on Friday, or should safety always come first?
